Schoppel Zauberball Crazy
If you love the Zauberball, then you are going to fall head over heels for Zauberball Crazy! With the familiar long, slow colour changes, this time there are two plies of yarn changing at their own speeds. The result is unpredictable beauty!
Zauberball Crazy is the perfect yarn for a pair of socks. Your socks will likely be fraternal rather than impeccably matched, since the colour repeats of each ply don't line up. The finished effect is very pleasing.
Patterns using Zauberball Crazy:
This is the recommended yarn for Martina Behm's Flux Hand Warmers in Confident Knitting. You'll need one 100g ball. The sample is knit in the Garden Party colourway.
One 100g ball of Zauberball Crazy is sufficient to make a pair of socks.
Schoppel Wolle work hard to make their yarns as environmentally friendly as possible, and Zauberball Crazy uses their new biodegradable nylon. Whereas other synthetic fibres persist in the environment for decades before they degrade completely, natural composting processes decompose this biodegradable polyamide fibre in around five years. As with other natural fibres, the degradation process does not occur in daily use. Further information can be found on their website: Schoppel Wolle
